Qualifications

• Security License (guard certification) issued by the state of California
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, or related field
• Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, or related field with 12+ years of work experience in federal, state, or local law enforcement agencies; 7+ years in a leadership role
• High school diploma or equivalent with 15+ years of work experience in federal, state, or local law enforcement agencies; 10+ years in a leadership role
• Minimum of 10 years of law enforcement experience with federal, state, or local law enforcement agencies
• Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in government, law enforcement, military
• Ability to work with little or no supervision
• Ability to work as an individual or member of a team
• Excellent leadership, judgment, discretion, and diplomacy skills
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Able to work a flexible schedule and sometimes extended schedule during crisis periods, which may include weekends and holidays
• Strong professional ethics and the ability to maintain trust
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills
