About the role
Aquatech is seeking a full-time Regional Controller to join its team in Albany, OR. This position is exempt and requires being on-site at least three days per week. The primary responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing inventory, conducting variance analysis, developing KPIs, and improving financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements, following GAAP standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and manage costing for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budgeted/forecasted financial outcomes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational efficiency and cost controls in the manufacturing process.
- Identify and communicate financial trends, metrics, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage all aspects of the organization’s accounting processes, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with overall organization policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain internal control systems to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA, or MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in a financial management or controller role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial analysis, and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong working knowledge and experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP).

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
Schedule
The hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
