The Team You’ll Join
The Regional Consultant is an important member of the Advisor Sales distribution team, responsible for supporting the growth and adoption of Envestnet’s Managed Accounts platform and related solutions. Working as a generalist seller with strong product knowledge, the Regional Consultant partners closely with the Regional Director to execute territory strategy, engage advisors, and deliver practice management resources.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by acquiring, retaining, and expanding relationships with financial advisors and advisory firms.
- Understand client needs and position company technology, managed account solutions, and investment offerings to support client business objectives.
- Actively prospect, develop pipelines, and close new business while expanding existing client relationships.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and service teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure high-quality client experience.
- Manage a defined territory or smaller advisor segment and execute territory coverage plans in partnership with the Regional Director to accelerate Managed Account adoption and sales.
- Manage a portfolio of potential advisors with accountability for sales activity, revenue contribution, advisor engagement, and pipeline growth.
- Execute outbound prospecting, qualify leads, and support advisor meetings by coordinating with Regional Directors and Senior Account Executives.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and articulate tailored value propositions.
- Advance opportunities through the sales pipeline, from initial contact to close, while supporting deal progression and follow-up.
- Identify and execute cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Distribute and consult on PMC investment solutions and Managed Account capabilities, including Tax/Impact Overlay, direct indexing, and strategist offerings.
- Partner with Marketing, Training, and Sales colleagues on lead generation campaigns, event follow-up, and development of advisor-facing materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional client experience and retention.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at advisory firms.
- Maintain disciplined CRM documentation of advisor engagement, pipeline activity, and territory execution.
- Represent Envestnet at advisor events, conferences, and industry meetings.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity, sharing insights with internal partners to inform territory execution.
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets and maintain accurate pipeline forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with Envestnet’s policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Financial services experience, preferably in advisory platform or asset management sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of the advisory business model, portfolio construction, and financial planning process.
- Experience managing a territory, supporting sales strategy, and achieving quota.
- Excellent organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships across advisors, colleagues, and cross-functional teams.
- Agile, solutions-oriented mindset with ability to execute against territory objectives.
- Ability to travel up to 25% (100% in-field engagement within assigned territory).

Pay
This role offers a base salary range of $81,200 to $107,500. The range represents a good-faith estimate of base salary compensation and does not include incentive compensation, equity, or benefits. Individual pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for an additional incentive component as part of the total rewards package.
