About the role
The role of Clinical Supervisor (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) Hybrid Multi-Program Leadership Lead at TURN Behavioral Health Services involves providing clinical supervision and support to BBS-registered staff and graduate student interns across multiple programs. This includes individual, triadic, and group supervision, clinical consultation, documentation review, and training.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and support across multiple sites and service models, including in-person and virtual formats as needed.
- Facilitate weekly individual, triadic, and group clinical supervision for assigned caseloads of BBS-registered staff and graduate student interns.
- Provide clinical consultation and support for supervisees, including guidance on assessment practices and documentation standards.
- Perform quality assurance reviews of medical records, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and organizational standards.
- Review and provide clinical feedback on assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes completed by supervisees, including co-signing clinical documentation as indicated.
- Monitor and support the quality and effectiveness of clinical services across programs.
- Collaborate with program and organizational leadership to address barriers to effective care and documentation.
- Lead or coordinate onboarding for new supervisees, including documentation training and clinical workflows.
- Provide ongoing in-service training to support clinical skill development and professional growth.
- Utilize evidence-based supervision practices, including live observation, audio/video review, and structured feedback tools.
- Collaborate with academic institutions to maintain intern placements, attend intern fairs, and support the intern-to-employee pipeline.
- Practice open and effective communication with program leadership, clinical teams, and other stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of clinical excellence, mentorship, and continuous learning among supervisees and graduate interns.
- Maintain confidentiality of client care and ensure supervisees adhere to ethical and legal standards.
- Attend monthly Clinical Supervisor’s Clinical Supervision group and other meetings as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree and current active CA BBS license (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC).
- Must meet BBS requirements to serve as a clinical supervisor, including completion of required supervision training hours and ongoing continuing education in supervision.
- Minimum two years of post-licensure clinical experience.
- Valid CA driver’s license and current auto insurance per contract requirements required.
- Parent-Child Interactive Therapy Certification is preferred.
- Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder services preferred.
- Demonstrated cultural competency.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR software preferred.
- Ability to travel between sites and use standard office and telehealth equipment.
