Local, temp-to-hire CDL B box-truck position in East Syracuse, NY. Automatic transmission; heavy-touch freight.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $25.09 per hour (est. $1,200 per week)
- Overtime available after 40 hours
- Per Diem: $30 per layover
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 12 – 14 hour days
- Start Time: between 2 AM and 7 AM
- Half layovers per week
Responsibilities
- Drive an automatic box truck to deliver cable equipment to internet-provider stores and tech locations across New England and Upstate NY
- Provide full white-glove service: unload equipment using a pallet jack and hand cart via lift-gate at locations without loading docks
Requirements
- Valid CDL B license
- 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
