About the role
TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support regional operations based in Elizabethtown, PA. This is a temp-to-hire position.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Returning around 6 PM
- 1–3 layovers per week
Pay
- $1,610 weekly minimum pay as long as 5 days are worked
- $0.70 CPM + $35 per stop after the 1st stop
Route Type
- Regional
- Freight type: Food
- Equipment: Manual transmission reefer trailers
Handling
- Heavy touch freight
- Unload with a pallet jack via liftgate or dock
- Some hand unloading
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean motor vehicle record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Responsibilities
- Safely operate reefer trailers on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
