Regional CDL A Delivery Driver

About the role

Regional Chain CDL A Delivery Driver position at Gordon Food Service. Build relationships with customers while delivering essential food products to regional chain restaurants. Night shifts and regional routes mean you’ll be home most nights, with 1 or 2 overnights required each week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to regional chain restaurants
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs using a ramp and a two-wheeler

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License at hire or within 90 days of start date
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds
• Successfully pass a drug test (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• Registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with electronic consent provided

Pay

Drivers average $70,000 – $100,000/year

• Guaranteed minimum of $1,250/week
• Daily base pay, plus component pay
• Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered

Schedule

• 4-day work week with overnights Monday–Friday
• Start times vary
• One- and two-day routes
• Overnights include hotel stay paid for by GFS
