Sales of GPs and/or PS
- Negotiation, planning and coordination of GP and/or PS volumes in advance with Customers.
- Cordination with planning and export departments in order to properly supply and deliver GP and/or PS shipments to customers.
- Researching, revising, negotiating and communicating GP and/or PS prices to customers yearly.
- Writing of GP and/or PS sales Budget and Forecast (periodic revisions and updates).
- Troubleshooting in GP and/or PS deliveries (manage with customers: delays, cancellation, and shortages).
- Management of other claims (credit notes, replacements, conciliations).
Presidency/Board Support
- Monthly reporting to President.
- Ownership benchmarking (market research, info collection).
Customer Insight
- Plan and coordinate periodic inward visits for key customers.
- Support key customers with expansion/growth plans (mainly GP distributors).
- Support PS sales growth through GP distributors.
- Support marketing for other commercial events for key customers.
Product Continuous Research and Identification
- Attend and contribute in Product Steering Meetings.
- Schedule periodical visits to key customers along with Geneticists for product review and feedback.
- Schedule and agree on testing of new products with customers.
- Collaborate with Regional Technical Services in the collection of data on current and test products.
People Development
- Develop organizational design to meet the needs of the region.
- Actively participate in all selection of regional team members.
- Coach all direct reports to ensure ongoing communication related to individual performance.
- Actively participate in selection of Regional Team members.
- Serve as a mentor to emerging commercial leaders of the organization.
Expense Budget
- Responsible for developing and executing the sales and technical support budget for the region.
- Accountable for all travel and office expenses.
- Monthly control of budget vs actual aimed to reduce expenses.
- Manage Technical Service Team (Note this section is only applicable in regions where Regional Technical Services reports through the Business Manager).
- Allocate assignments, responsibilities, areas and customers to technical services.
- Partner with Technical Services to support all technical activities within the region.
- Agree on agreements and payment for external consultants.
- Salary planning for all members of the team reporting through the Business Manager’s organization.
- Fully leverage all information systems and tools such as (Easy Flock, MaCRO, etc).
- Support internal regional meetings as required.
- Manage the development and performance of direct reports.
Others
- Support Marketing in events preparation and information for publicity improvement.
- Support and interact with other internal departments such as: accounting, HR, Planning, etc.
- Monthly expense reporting.
