Regional Business AR Specialist
Description
The Regional Business Specialist – Accounts Receivable is responsible for providing backup to the Regional Business Administration Manager and interacting with branches and cross-functional teams to handle and manage accounts receivable matters.
- Prepare AIA billings and compile supporting documentation
- Ensure invoices, schedules of values, and lien waivers are accurate and complete
- Prepare and submit client billings for multiple cost centers in accordance with contractual deadlines
- Manage accounts receivable collections for multiple cost centers
- Process contract change orders and ensure adherence to SOX compliance
- Maintain electronic filing systems using company servers and construction management software
- Provide audit support to internal/external auditors and the corporate tax team
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation efforts
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls for all invoicing activities
- Cook with suppliers to obtain timely lien releases
- Partner with payroll to resolve issues that could impact payment timelines
- Build and maintain positive relationships with branch offices and suppliers to support accurate, timely billing
- Support month-end close activities
- Contribute to operational improvements, including reducing turnaround times and streamlining workflows
- Draft and distribute written communications (i.e. memos, letters, notices)
- Answer branch phone lines, as needed
- Generate reports as requested by branch team members
- Maintain electronic records for branch and project files
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of general office or clerical experience
- Minimum 2 years of accounts receivable or related experience
- 1-3 years of construction AR experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with systems such as Textura, GCPay, Procore, Trimble Pay, CMiC, JD Edwards/Oracle is a plus

Pay
Pay Range: $70,304 - $80,000
