About the role

The Regional Auto Program Manager is a key member of the PACS Auto & Fleet team, responsible for owning the end-to-end implementation and ongoing compliance of the Auto Program across an assigned portfolio of post-acute care, senior living, and hospice facilities. This is a high-impact, highly visible role that serves as the primary point of contact between facility leadership and the corporate Auto & Fleet program.

Responsibilities

  • Program Rollout & Onboarding
    • Lead full Auto Program onboarding for all new and existing facilities within the assigned region.
    • Cookbook authorized driver roster (ADR) setup, Coast fuel card enrollment, MVR monitoring activation, and USDOT compliance verification for each facility.
    • Ensure telematics dashcam devices are installed, activated, and in active use at all facilities in the region, collaborating with the Telematics & Technology Specialist as needed.
    • Partner with Field Trainers to schedule and execute PASS training, wheelchair securement training, and driver onboarding at facilities across the region.
    • Track onboarding progress across multiple facilities simultaneously and report status to program leadership.
  • Ongoing Driver Training & Compliance
    • Ensure drivers across all facilities in the region — new and existing — remain current with all Auto Program training requirements on an ongoing basis.
    • Coordinate with Field Trainers to schedule refresher training, address driver turnover, and ensure no facility falls behind on training compliance.
    • Monitor driver authorization status and MVR records across the region, following up with facilities to address gaps and maintain a complete and current authorized driver roster.
    • Proactively identify facilities with compliance gaps and work directly with facility leadership to bring them into compliance.
    • Maintain accurate records of training completion, driver compliance status, and outstanding action items across the region.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
    • Monitor ongoing compliance with all Auto Program requirements including driver authorization, MVR monitoring, fuel card usage, and telematics across the region.
    • Partner with the USDOT & Compliance Specialist to ensure regional facilities meet all applicable federal and state transportation regulations.
    • Identify and escalate compliance gaps to facility leadership, following up until resolution is confirmed.
    • Support facilities in understanding and meeting their auto insurance requirements, including coordinating with the appropriate internal teams to address coverage questions and ensure facilities have what they need.
    • Aid in auto insurance claims coordination for facilities in the region, serving as a point of contact and helping to guide facilities through the process.
  • Facility Support & Relationship Management
    • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for facility administrators and transportation coordinators within the region.
    • Triage and resolve facility-level issues including fuel card access problems, driver authorization questions, vehicle concerns, and insurance inquiries.
    • Manage auto claims activity within the region, coordinating with insurance and risk management teams as needed.
  • Telematics Collaboration & Driver Safety
    • Collaborate with the Telematics & Technology Specialist to monitor driver safety data across the region and ensure facilities are actively coaching drivers and addressing unsafe behaviors.
    • Escalate serious safety events or patterns of concern identified in the region in coordination with the Telematics & Technology Specialist.
    • Support driver app adoption across facilities, working alongside the telematics team to ensure full utilization.

Qualifications

  • Education and/or Experience: 2+ years of experience in operations, program management, fleet management, compliance, or a related field required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple facilities, locations, or accounts simultaneously required.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience tracking complex, multi-step processes across a distributed portfolio required.
  • Excellent communication skills — comfortable working with facility-level staff and corporate leadership alike required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Outlook) required.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision required.
  • Experience in healthcare, post-acute care, senior living, or a highly regulated industry preferred.
  • Familiarity with fleet operations, telematics platforms, or driver compliance programs preferred.
  • Background in multi-site or regional operations coordination preferred.
