About the Role

This remote position serves as a key member of the Undergraduate Admissions team, responsible for developing and executing a strategic recruitment plan within an assigned geographic territory (Atlanta, Georgia area). The Senior Regional Admissions Counselor identifies, engages, and enrolls academically qualified students while representing the university’s mission and values. The role requires a high level of autonomy, relationship-building, and data-informed decision-making to manage a remote recruitment territory effectively. The counselor acts as the primary ambassador for the institution, cultivating strong partnerships with students, families, and school counselors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic recruitment plan for the Atlanta, Georgia region.
• Identify, engage, and enroll academically qualified students.
• Serve as the primary institutional ambassador, representing High Point University’s mission and values.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with students, families, and school counselors.
• Utilize data-driven decision-making to optimize recruitment efforts.
• Work autonomously to manage a remote recruitment territory.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Must reside in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
• Entry-level or senior-level experience in admissions, enrollment, or a related field.
