About the role
At Legacy Hospice, our mission is to provide compassionate and expert end-of-life care for patients and families. We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Administrator (RN) to oversee the clinical operations of multiple branches, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead with integrity and heart.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and clinical oversight across assigned hospice branches.
- Support Branch Administrators and clinical staff.
- Collaborate with business development to strengthen referral relationships and census.
- Monitor operational indicators and support budget planning and expense management.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting body regulations.
- Supervise clinical documentation and recordkeeping practices.
- Conduct performance evaluations and mentor branch leadership.
- Serve as acting Branch Administrator as needed.
- Provide hands-on RN case management support when required.
- Promote a culture of compassion, accountability, and clinical excellence.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of employment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred.
- Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Prior experience in hospice or home health strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Active BLS certification.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
