Responsibilities

  • Generate and develop new business to meet specified sales goals.
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships.
  • Respond to all customer inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Function as a liaison between customers and operations staff.
  • Understand and communicate information regarding company products, services, and policies to new and existing clients.
  • Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of solar industry product information.
  • Gather information on local competition and prevalent industry trends; communicate findings to management.
  • Ensure all required client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports as required.
  • Attend and participate in business/trade events that impact the business unit.
  • Attend and participate in team strategic sales meetings.

Requirements

  • Expert in NetSuite, MS Excel, Word, and CRM software.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Flexibility and innovation as a team player.
  • Access to a vehicle for regular, weekly customer visits.
  • Ability to travel by plane or car (up to 50%).

Pay

Total expected target compensation for this position is $175,000 annually, including base salary plus target bonus.
