Regional Account Manager
Travel: Approximately 30% overnight travel. Territory: Kentucky, Ohio, and North Carolina; territory may change based on business needs.
About The Role
This opportunity places you at the forefront of executing procurement and distribution programs across an assigned territory, with a direct impact on compliance, consistency, and operational performance. You will serve as a key connector between vendors, distribution partners, and internal teams, using data and insights to drive results while supporting business continuity and critical initiatives. The role focuses on completing specific tasks and projects as an individual contributor, performing specialized technical tasks to support operations. Work is primarily achieved independently but may involve collaboration with a team.
Responsibilities
- Influence procurement and distribution performance across a defined territory through targeted strategies and program execution.
- Build trusted partnerships with vendors, distributors, and internal stakeholders that support long-term success.
- Lead supplier business reviews and compliance conversations that deliver measurable operational improvements.
- Support new unit openings by coordinating vendor onboarding and distribution readiness.
- Use data and reporting tools to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and guide decision-making.
- Play a visible role in supporting disaster preparedness and recovery efforts when needed.
- Grow expertise in procurement operations, distribution networks, and enterprise systems such as Power BI and Salesforce.
Requirements
- Experience managing procurement or distribution programs within a multi-location or regional environment.
- Background collaborating with vendors, distribution centers, and cross-functional internal teams.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and Salesforce to analyze data and support reporting needs.
- Track record of managing competing priorities while meeting timelines and compliance requirements.
- Customer-focused approach centered on service delivery, relationship building, and operational reliability.
Qualifications
- Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Management Experience: 5 years.
- Related Experience: 3 years.
Pay
Pay Range: $100,130 per year – $115,540 per year. Incentive Eligibility: Eligible to participate in Sodexo's incentive plan and earn variable compensation in addition to base salary.
