Retail Account Manager

Fresh, forward, and flavorful, Flowers Foods is dedicated to crafting moments of joy through its diverse range of baked goods. As a Regional Account Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, market share, and profitability for assigned accounts.

Position Responsibilities

• Promotes a customer-centered culture that exceeds customer needs, requirements, and expectations
• Develops and manages customer relationships across all levels of assigned retailers, buyers, and key decision-makers
• Contributes to customer strategy to align with local Flowers business objectives
• Collaborates with BU/Brand Teams and Marketing to understand trends and consumer preferences, directing account strategy to maximize potential
• Works with VP of Regional Accounts and Brand Teams to develop a Sales Plan delivering Flowers sales and margin objectives within the Trade Promotion Management and accrual funding structure
• Communicates effectively with various internal departments to ensure proper planning, distribution, and compliance with company policies
• Achieves/exceeds all established key sales measures and targets
• Develops and implements the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
• Fosters an environment that engages and educates the regional team, supporting their goal achievement
• Builds and develops a high-performing sales leadership team at the regional level, fostering a strong regional culture
• Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Retail Account Management and CPG sales
• Past success in teamwork and guiding sales
• Equivalent management experience
• Ability to travel up to 25%, with some overnight travel

Essential Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or Finance
• Master's degree preferred

Salary Range

$95,000 - $105,000
