Region Operations Director - NH, MA, VT - Northeast Business Unit

For our client, a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space, we are seeking a Region Operations Director to join their Northeast Business Unit team, covering New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Vermont.

About the role

This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a consumer-facing environment.

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze competitor pricing activities and market surveys to ensure market competitiveness
• Evaluate financial status by reviewing relevant reports and identifying issues
• Develop marketing strategies in consultation with gasoline and marketing departments to boost sales and profits
• Conduct store inspections, audit paperwork, and maintain inventory levels and merchandising standards
• Enforce safety practices and maintain a secure environment for employees and customers
• Prepare the annual budget, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions to achieve financial objectives
• Recruit, select, orient, and train new employees to maintain staff effectiveness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred; equivalent experience acceptable
• Minimum of 10 years in the convenience store/gasoline industry preferred, with at least 5 years in a management role
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Ability to travel up to 50% annually as required
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills are essential
• Valid driver's license required

Pay

$100,000 – $130,000 annually
