About the role

The Region Director, Supply Chain Operations will lead and oversee all supply chain activities within a designated region of Dignity Health. This role requires strong leadership and analytical skills, along with a deep understanding of supply chain management principles.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and inspire a team responsible for procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution across all facilities within the region.
  • Forge successful relationships with market and facility executives, key department leaders, and adjacent stakeholders to drive value, optimize operating margins, and support the organization's strategic plan.
  • Accountable for division performance on key operational performance indicators.
  • Optimize the total cost of ownership for the supply chain, including supply expense, labor, and other operating expenses related to supply chain activity.
  • Evaluate and select market-level department staff.
  • Ensure compliance with established standard operating procedures, policies, quality assurance programs, safety, environmental, and infection control policies and procedures.
  • Manage department to national SSRM operating standards of performance, making operational and personnel decisions to achieve desired performance.
  • Promote improvement efforts throughout the organization to streamline processes, optimize financial performance, and identify areas of general inefficiency.
  • Ensure department goals and objectives align with the organization's strategic plan, philosophy, and vision.

Requirements

  • Masters degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in Supply Chain within a healthcare facility system or other relevant experience
  • Minimum 10 years healthcare / supply chain experience
  • Seven (7) years of leadership experience may be considered in place of advanced degree
  • Experience in change management and leadership (LEAD)
  • Team management and/or project management experience preferred
