Regional Director, Supply Chain
About the role
The Regional Director is the senior supply chain director accountable for strategy, operational performance, and continuous improvement across multiple acute care hospitals, specialty centers, and affiliated sites within an assigned market. Reporting to the Vice President, this leader bridges facility level execution with enterprise supply chain plans ensuring all sites operate in alignment with RWJBH enterprise strategies, clinical priorities, financial targets, and regulatory standards. This role serves as the primary point of accountability for market wide supply chain outcomes, acting as subject-matter expert, escalation point, and project lead while maintaining direct oversight of day-to-day operations across all assigned facilities. The Regional Director partners with facility executives, clinical leadership, finance, and corporate supply chain to drive standardization, cost reduction, and operational excellence at scale.
Responsibilities
- Set and execute enterprise supply chain strategy aligned with RWJBH system goals; translate corporate direction into facility-level operations across all assigned sites, including serving in an acting facility director or project coordinator capacity as needed
- Maintain multi hospital direct oversight of all day-to-day supply chain operations including procurement, distribution, receiving, inventory
