Refurbishment Technician
About the role
We are seeking a Refurbishment Technician to join our team in Pflugerville, Texas. The primary responsibility is to restore industrial additive manufacturing systems by installing, repairing, replacing, and reassembling equipment to meet operational standards and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Install equipment at EOS facilities to ensure full functionality according to EOS specifications.
- Refurbish used EOS equipment for resale to customers; inspect and identify worn or damaged components/technical issues, assessing the extent of repairs needed.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing to ensure refurbished equipment meets quality standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, components used, and inspection findings.
- Communicate and maintain service records and field service reports.
- Manage EOS service tools and spare parts inventory to ensure accurate inventory of company assigned assets.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in servicing industrial equipment.
- Certified technician or skilled worker in electrical/mechanical engineering technology.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to use written, oral, schematic, and diagram engineering instructions.
- Possess computer knowledge (PC-configuration, MS-Windows, Network knowledge, MS-Office).
- Availability to work irregular shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Availability to work Monday – Friday onsite at Pflugerville facility.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Professional appearance and conduct, with good communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in servicing industrial equipment. Certified technician or skilled worker in electrical/mechanical engineering technology. Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Ability to use written, oral, schematic, and diagram engineering instructions. Possess computer knowledge (PC-configuration, MS-Windows, Network knowledge, MS-Office). Valid driver’s license.
