Responsibilities

  • Build bridges and coalitions to ensure justice and democracy.
  • Defend the rule of law while innovating toward common-sense solutions.
  • Support basic rights and freedoms through advocacy and coalition-building.
  • Engage in research, policy analysis, and communications to advance our mission.
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to develop and implement strategies.
  • Represent Human Rights First at events and meetings to promote our cause.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in advocacy, coalition-building, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of human rights principles and issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., international relations, law, public policy).
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Passion for human rights and a commitment to social justice.

Skills

  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Effective public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Experience with data analysis and report writing.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience.
