About the role
The Civil Rights Legal Fellow will provide legal support to the organization in advancing its mission through litigation and advocacy.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis on civil rights issues
- Prepare and present legal arguments in court
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement strategies
- Advocate for policy changes that promote civil rights
Requirements
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in at least one state
- Experience in civil rights litigation or advocacy
- Strong analytical and writing skills
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for civil rights and social justice
