Refrigerator Mechanic
Troubleshooting and Repair
Maintains and repairs all types of kitchen equipment.
Troubleshoots and repairs packaged a/c equipment, split a/c equipment, chillers, pumps, motors, boilers, furnaces and ancillary equipment.
Maintains and monitors the University's building automation system to identify and respond to problems.
- Repairs and installs refrigeration piping, steam piping, condensate piping and water piping.
- Installs refrigeration equipment and air conditioning equipment up to 25 tons.
- Works on electrical systems up to 480 volt a.c.
Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Minimum of 5 years of certifiable commercial or industrial air conditioning/refrigeration experience
- Proficient in pipe threading, soldering and brazing
- Knowledge and experience with building automation systems (ALC)

- Proactive maintenance background
- NJ Qualified Journeymen Electrical license
- Attention to detail

Salary Range: $46.65 per hour
