About the role
Full-time experienced Refrigeration Technician position for a self-starter who can perform daily duties with little supervision.
Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and/or install commercial HVAC-R equipment, including:
- Walk-in coolers and freezers
- Refrigeration pre-tables
- Under-counter refrigerators and freezers
- Commercial rooftop units
- Work with refrigerants such as R410A, R22, R404, R448, R449, R134, R290, and R407C
- Service and repair compressors, coils, motors, and use electrical diagnostic tools
- Provide excellent customer service
- Be available for on-call and after-hours repairs
- Climb and balance on ladders, stand or sit for long periods, and work at heights
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with commercial HVAC-R equipment from manufacturers such as Master-bilt, Hussmann, Trenton, Kairak/Traulsen, Silver King, Randell, True, Scottsman, Manitowoc, Lennox, Carrier, Trane, Goodman, etc.
- Personal hand tools (e.g., refrigerant gauges, drill, volt meter, temperature probes, and hand tools)
- 608 Universal EPA Card (required)
- Valid Florida Driver’s License (required)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass regular drug testing and background checks
