Key Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-in refrigeration units, ice machines, and refrigerated cases.
• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment in accordance with company and customer standards.
• Support senior technicians during service calls, system inspections, and repairs.
• Identify basic mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
• Accurately document service activities, parts used, and job notes using company systems.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and service management.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in a clean and professional manner.
• Follow all safety policies, OSHA standards, and company procedures at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1–3 years of commercial refrigeration or HVAC experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of refrigeration cycles, components, and controls.
• EPA Universal Certification (required).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to learn and work under the direction of experienced technicians.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read basic wiring diagrams, schematics, and service documentation.
