Refrigeration Technician

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing refrigeration systems in commercial kitchens. Works closely with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all refrigeration equipment including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and chillers.
• Perform routine maintenance checks to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with health codes.
• Diagnose and resolve complex refrigeration issues using technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to identify areas for improvement in energy efficiency and food waste reduction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• At least 2 years of experience in refrigeration repair or related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration principles.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications
