Refrigeration Repair Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs refrigeration products that fail performance test and/or inspection.
• Operates machinery or hand tools as required to complete assembly process.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Maintains production records as required.
• Checks materials and finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A High School Education (or GED) with 1 - 3 years consecutive experience in appliance repair.
• Demonstrated ability to use and operate hand tools.
• Demonstrated ability to read wiring diagrams.
• Ability to stand on concrete surfaces for up to three hours without a break and twelve hours with breaks.
• Demonstrated ability to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work shifts and hours mandated by management and to pass a drug screen.

Position Overview

This position requires an experienced, energetic, and detail-focused individual who wants to be a part of growing team and company. The Repair Technician makes necessary repairs to refrigeration products that fail performance test and/or inspection.

Expected Hours of Work

This position is full-time. The general scheduled workdays are 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, with the possibility of mandatory overtime Friday and Saturday.
