Refrigeration Mechanic - Freon and Ammonia Technician

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing refrigeration systems using both Freon and Ammonia. This includes diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair refrigeration systems using both Freon and Ammonia
• Perform routine maintenance checks to prevent system failures
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and regulations
• Communicate effectively with clients and other technicians

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in refrigeration mechanics
• Knowledge of Freon and Ammonia systems
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certifications in refrigeration mechanics (preferred)

Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
