REFRIGERATION AND BOILER TECH

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration and Boiler Tech to join our team in Green Bay, reporting to the B&E Supervisor. The pay range for this position is $30.95 - $36.45.

Responsibilities

• Installs new equipment, repairs, and modifies existing refrigeration/HVAC and boiler equipment
• Performs necessary preventative maintenance on all equipment, including rebuilding compressors and boilers as needed, and records necessary information
• Trains other maintenance mechanics in ammonia refrigeration/HVAC/boiler operations
• Works with limited supervision and provides feedback to supervisors on maintenance concerns
• Observes and enforces all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies
• Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating effectively with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership teams
• Recognizes and acts on incidents and safety risks, consistently practicing and enforcing safe work habits

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a commercial refrigeration environment/boiler operation, relevant HVAC experience, and/or accredited education preferred
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to comply with regulatory requirements
• Working knowledge of NH3 refrigeration principles, plant refrigeration systems, electric and mechanical procedures, or relevant HVAC experience
• Must be able to pass a PFT Spirometry test
• Ability to work 4 days on, 4 days off with a monthly 7:00am to 7:00pm rotation

Skills

• Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentage calculations
• Ability to read and understand schematics
• Mechanical ability to analyze production machinery, their function, and repair

Pay Range: $30.95 - $36.45
