Role Overview: The Industrial Refrigeration Specialist is responsible for operating and maintaining ammonia refrigeration, boiler, and steam systems within a food production environment. Key Responsibilities Monitor equipment: Continuously observe system performance, conduct shift audits, and record critical data to ensure optimal operation.System maintenance and troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues, support basic electrical control repairs, and perform routine maintenance tasks.Water treatment and safety: Test and treat boiler water, adhering to safety and hazmat protocols.Compliance and safety: Follow strict safety procedures and hazmat regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications & Skills: Candidates should possess technical knowledge of refrigeration and boiler systems, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work safely in a regulated environment. Flexibility to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 facility is essential.
