Refractive Surgical Consultant - East

As a Refractive Surgical Consultant, you will work with the WaveLight suite, and any other WaveLight consumables or disposables. Work with the Account Managers and the Refractive team to ensure a smooth sales process, and product knowledge post sale covering the East region. Branded products include: WaveLight® Excimer, WaveLight® Femto, Contoura, Wavelight Plus, and all related Wavelight consumables/disposables.

Responsibilities

• Regional on-label post-install sales support, and technical selling for WaveLight® products, with an emphasis on premium procedural selling
• Work closely with WaveLight Managers (WM), Division Manager (DM), and Refractive team to optimize sales initiatives, product adoption, and goals
• Ability to consult with physician/surgeon, key opinion leaders (KOLs), key customer decision makers, and internal stakeholders
• Maintain high level of technical knowledge on key existing and new surgical products
• Accountable for assigned sales objectives for region
• Responsible for Management Business Objectives (MBOs) assigned by management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 5 Years of Relevant Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Ophthalmic surgical/technical skills and knowledge
• A demonstrated track record of proven sales achievements is highly preferred
• Experience consulting in an Operating Room (OR) setting
• Experience consulting with Refractive technologies
• Strong working knowledge of Refractive diagnostics
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Pay

Pay Range: $119,000.00 - $154,000.00 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location, and internal equity, and may fall outside the posted range.
