Refine Processor

About the role

Join us as a Refine Processor, responsible for internal and external (customer) precious metal refines processes.

Responsibilities

• Process and document internal and customer scrap refines in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
• Participate in the receipt of customer and internal scrap, comparing contents with advised weights and descriptions.
• Perform electric induction and gas melting of scrap when necessary for sampling and/or granulation for refining.
• Operate all equipment in sweeps preparation area, including: incinerator, ball mills, hammer mills, screen, blenders, etc.
• Prepare and document (computer entry) samples for the assay lab.
• Organize and document accumulated scrap material in storage for further disposition and inventory control.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and/or GED.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
• Selection contingent on export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology under ITAR or EAR regulations. Eligible candidates include U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees, refugees, or nationals of approved countries, or those approved for an export license.

Pay

Pay Range: $22.00 - $31.00 per hour. Actual base salary offered varies based on factors including relevant skills, prior experience, education, internal peer salaries, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
