Referred Caregiver - Companions, PCAs, and CNAs

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home care, assisted living, nursing homes, and community programs. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents and clients by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. Responsibilities

  • Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Support patients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care, ensuring a safe environment
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through light cleaning duties to promote a healthy environment
  • Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior to healthcare professionals or family members
  • Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to assist with mobility and prevent injury
  • Follow established care plans diligently while providing emotional support and companionship
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including CPR and first aid procedures, to safeguard residents’ well-being
  • Companion care, including accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, and errands. May also provide transportation to and from appointments and other community activities as appropriate

Skills

  • Familiarity with Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental disabilities care strategies
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for resident transfers or mobility assistance
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments
  • Basic cooking skills for meal preparation aligned with dietary restrictions
