About the Role

The Service Truck Driver role in Duncan, SC, requires an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. This position involves operating a service truck to support construction equipment and job sites.

Responsibilities

• Oil, grease, and fuel trucks and equipment.
• Operate the vehicle safely in traffic while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Conduct pre-trip inspection checklists on equipment (e.g., tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water).
• Handle paperwork concerning Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, freight weigh bills, fuel tickets, and load tickets.
• Follow detailed instructions, take directions to job sites, and use good judgment in decision-making while working without direct supervision.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driving license with a driving record that meets company safety guidelines for operating a company vehicle.
• Ability to pass a DOT Physical for a DOT Medical card.
• Adherence to all DOT and Reeves Construction Company safety regulations.
• Ability to work day or night shifts.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds.

Physical Demands

• Climb onto and down from a vehicle several times a day.
• Sit in a vehicle and operate it for several hours without stopping.
• Withstand vibration from trucks, roads, and job site conditions, as well as noise from truck engines, equipment, and traffic.
• Use arms, hands, and feet in repetitive motions.
• Perform light manual duties, such as sweeping debris and rocks from truck beds or trailers, handling tarpaulins, tailgate chains, binders, and binding chains.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to:
