The role involves processing and managing recyclable materials to support sustainable operations. This position requires hands-on experience with sorting, handling, and processing recyclables in an industrial or facility setting. Key Responsibilities:• Sort and process recyclable materials according to established guidelines and protocols.• Operate and maintain equipment used in the recycling process, including compactors and balers.• Inspect incoming materials for contamination and ensure compliance with recycling standards.• Record and track recycling metrics, including volume processed and contamination rates.• Collaborate with team members to improve recycling efficiency and reduce waste. Required Skills & Qualifications:• Experience operating recycling equipment such as compactors, balers, or sorting systems.• Knowledge of recycling processes and industry standards for material separation.• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds safely.• Basic understanding of safety protocols in an industrial or warehouse environment.• Strong attention to detail to identify contaminated or non-recyclable materials.
