Recruitment Training Specialist
About the role
This position provides technical and analytical support to the agency’s Training and Development program with a focus on recruitment-related training.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the development and updating of standardized training materials related to recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Support the design of instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training modules using established instructional design practices.
- Affirm compliance with state and federal laws, including veterans' preference and equal employment opportunity requirements.
- Draft and revise guidance documents, toolkits, and reference materials aligned with statewide policies and agency procedures.
Requirements
- Three years of work experience planning, organizing, or delivering employee training programs, adult learning programs, youth instructional programs, or group presentations.
- A bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Psychology, Business or Public Administration, Training and Development, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Partnership: Demonstrated experience applying best practices for equitable recruitment and selection, including collaborating with managers and HR partners to support organizational goals.
Benefits
The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect an additional 6.95%.
Pay
The salary range is $5,102 - $7,537 ($5,456 - $8,060 PERS).
Schedule
The position is full-time, non-exempt, and follows a hybrid work model. Onsite presence will be required when business or operational needs are best supported in person.
