As the Recruitment Specialist, you will support the Company’s people and culture strategy by attracting top talent to achieve staffing objectives. You will provide full lifecycle recruitment, including sourcing and evaluating candidates, assisting the Talent Acquisition Manager and hiring managers on immediate and projected needs, and providing high-quality customer service for new and prospective employees. This role directly impacts Edwards' growth and sustainability by attracting and hiring top talent, reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and qualifications with managers.
  • Post and maintain job ads on internal and external job boards, ensuring compliance with internal branding and legal requirements.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Negotiate offer terms with candidates and initiate the onboarding process.
  • Manage relationships with hiring managers and ensure good communication between candidates and hiring managers throughout the process.
  • Utilize multiple sources to find top talent (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, external job boards, internal ATS, career fairs).
  • Regularly report on recruiting metrics (e.g., Time to Approve, Time to Hire).
  • Attend career fairs to build future pipeline and strengthen employer brand.
  • Liaise with preferred contractor/agency firms regularly and provide timely feedback to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in all recruitment activities.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree focused in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field; or a High School Diploma and equivalent years of experience in a Human Resources role.
  • 1-2 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting or a fast-paced administrative environment.
  • Experience working in a corporate environment.
  • Comfortable utilizing digital platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, social media, direct sourcing, various job boards).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Flexible approach to cope with a constantly changing environment and priorities.
  • Strong listening and communication skills with empathy and emotional intelligence.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay

Salary range is $28–$32 per hour. Salary is based on location average and may vary based on factors such as geographic location, experience, job-related skills, and internal peer equity.

Schedule

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Hillsboro office in Hillsboro, OR.
