Position Details

Qualifications

• Project 1: SRF
  - Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent;
  - Four years' experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services;
  - Doctoral Degree in Science / Engineering / Technology/ Pharma, MD/MS from a recognized University or Equivalent.
• Prior research experience in the above skill areas are preferable.

Requirements

• Candidate should be highly motivated to do basic research in biology.
• Academically excellent candidate with technical proficiency in cytology, sequence analysis and recombinant DNA (rDNA) technology especially in cloning, designing and making gene constructs, growing and managing plants.

Benefits

• Fellowship amount: Rs. 42,000 + HRA as applicable
• Tenure of the post: 1 year, extendable based on performance upto 3 years or till completion of the project whichever is earlier
