Recruitment Coordinator, Graduate and Professional Education (Part Time)
Position Summary
Vanguard University is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Recruitment Coordinator to join our Graduate and Professional Education Enrollment team. The role involves engaging prospective students through various events and building meaningful relationships.
POSITION DUTIES
Reflect and promote the mission, vision, and identity of Vanguard University.
Participate in the university community by building partnerships with key stakeholders across schools, departments, and support offices.
Build meaningful relationships with prospective students through phone calls, emails, virtual meetings, and in-person interactions.
Identify prospective students' motivations, challenges, and educational goals and tailor program information and resources to meet individual needs.
Collaborate with members of the Graduate Enrollment Team to provide a seamless enrollment experience.
Partner with admissions counselors, academic advisors, financial aid representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure students are supported from initial inquiry through enrollment.
Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of graduate and professional programs, curriculum, and program distinctives.
Clearly articulate how each program supports the educational and professional goals of adult learners.
Provide prospective students with accurate information regarding admissions requirements, deadlines, and application processes.
Maintain accurate and organized records of prospective student interactions within the University's CRM system.
Represent Vanguard University at on-campus, virtual, and off-site recruitment events, open houses, information sessions, and workshops.
Develop and maintain relationships with community college transfer centers, local businesses, and other strategic partners to increase recruitment opportunities and prospective student engagement.
Stay current on industry trends, enrollment strategies, and best practices related to adult student recruitment.
Pursue professional development opportunities to strengthen recruitment, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree.
- Familiarity with admissions, enrollment, or student recruitment, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Ability to learn marketing and sales principles relevant to student recruitment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with adult learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Empathetic listener with the ability to understand and respond to individual needs and concerns.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-starter with exceptional time management skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for recruitment events and outreach activities.

Preferred Experience
- In admissions, enrollment, or student recruitment within a higher education setting.
- Experience with sales, marketing, or creating promotional content across various platforms.
- Knowledge of best practices for supporting adult learners and collaborating with university offices.
- Experience using CRM systems such as Recruit, Slate, or Salesforce.
SALARY
This is a non-exempt, part-time (20 hours per week) position. Expected Pay Range: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour. Placement within the salary range is commensurate upon education and experience.
