About the role
The College of Professional Programs, Family Resource and Training Center (FRTC) at Eastern Washington University is currently seeking skilled and team-oriented applicants for the Recruitment & Retention Coordinator (RC) position.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Regional Recruitment Plan, including development and management of the Diligent Recruitment Plan.
- Coordinate and implement active and passive recruitment, retention, and support events.
- Supervise regional Resource Peer Mentors.
- Record all activities in alignment with data collection and program evaluation needs.
- Regularly travel to fulfill job duties, including multi-day/overnight trips throughout the state.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s Degree in Social Work, Behavioral Science, Child Development, Education, or related field AND at least two (2) years professional experience working within the child welfare system OR at least 2 years professional experience in program/project management, recruitment or related field, including supervision of staff AND at least 2 years professional experience working within the child welfare system.
- Complete all additional mandatory training within 6 months of hire.
- Three years’ professional experience in social services.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care.
- Knowledge of the complex needs of children and families involved in foster care.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership and/or supervisory skills.
- Strong computer skills including use of programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of creative design/marketing.
- Ability to travel as described in the Conditions of Employment, as needed, up to 30%.
Qualifications
- At least two (2) years supervisory experience.
- Five (5) or more years of experience in social services.
- Program development experience.
