Recruitment Consultant
About the role
At Phaidon International, you will be matched to a sub-team within one of our specialized brands during the interview process. You will develop your network, maintain non-transactional relationships, and establish yourself as an expert in your market by performing core recruitment functions including business development, candidate sourcing, and process management.
Responsibilities
- Reach out to potential clients to establish a relationship, network, and win new business.
- Pitch and negotiate service agreements with key stakeholders for potential clients.
- Maintain existing client relationships and update them throughout ongoing searches.
- Pull and qualify client hiring needs to understand the role, goals of the company, and necessary experience.
- Headhunt top talent (mid-to-senior and executive level candidates) within your assigned niche and territory.
- Network with passive/inactive talent and cold call active and passive candidates for rapport building, market intel, and motivations.
- Messsage, email, and cold call candidates to maintain a pipeline of mid-to-senior level candidates within your specialized niche.
- Introduce candidates to clients and coordinate the interview process, exchanging feedback between candidate and client.
- Negotiate and deliver the offer to the candidate.
- Provide post-placement care: keep in touch with the candidate after their start to ensure a long-term fit.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in recruitment or a similar field.
- Proven success in headhunting and maintaining client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Skills
While not required, having the following skills would be beneficial:
- Knowledge of industry-specific terminology and trends.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel occasionally.

Pay
$47,500 base salary + uncapped commission from day 1 ($70k-80k 1st year OTE)
Schedule
Flexible schedule with a 3pm finish on Fridays
