At least 5 years of successful experience in teaching and school administration preferred. Bachelor's &/or master's degree or higher preferred. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. Such modifications of the above qualifications as the Board of Education shall find appropriate.

Job Goal
Provides human resource services, including specific recruitment, hiring, training, and placement of classified and certified staff.

Reports to Work
Report to work on a regular and reliable basis.
Design and Implement the Overall Recruiting Strategy
- For assigned staff, including certified, classified, extra-curricular, and for summer programs.
- Proactively source and attract qualified candidates via applicant tracking systems, job boards, universities, and social media.
- Build and maintain relationships with future applicants.
- Display and advertise the District brand in a positive manner.
- Keep up-to-date with advertising and recruitment trends.

Maintain District Functions
- Aids in the coordination of district functions, special events, and activities.
- Maintains employee files.
- Greets and provides information to students, parents, and guests warmly; functions as an ambassador for ISD.
- Develops District Calendar with Calendar Committee with Coordinator of Staff and Employee Services.
- Aids with audits, accreditation reviews, and compliance monitoring activities as assigned.
Update Job Postings
- Print application - review years of experience & highest degree
- Propose placement on the salary scale to the HR Director
- Make new hire offer - secretarial, para, library clerk, technology, nurses, FSL (EE makes their own offers)
- Schedule exit interviews - conduct if needed
- Generate replacement approvals
- Post open positions
- Track open positions
- Duplicate job assignments for next fiscal year - (January and July step increase)
- Post for high-demand positions
Support Student Teachers
- Communicate with student teachers and onboard student teachers
- Ensure student teachers are interviewed
Assist Employee Relations
- Assist the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources as directed.
