About the role
At Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida, we are seeking part-time Recruitment and Marketing Specialists to expand our reach and engage new families in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. As a Recruitment Specialist, you will be the face of Girl Scouts in the community, connecting with families, showcasing the benefits of Girl Scouting, and turning interest into registration.
Responsibilities
- Attend events and staff "pop-up" informational booths in schools, libraries, and faith-based organizations.
- Connect with families and help them register for Girl Scouting.
- Set up and manage recruitment booths.
- Lead engaging activities with girls.
- Answer questions with clarity and enthusiasm.
- Capture leads and contacts for follow-up.
- Receive all necessary training and materials.
- Work independently and manage multiple contacts and tasks.
- Travel to multiple locations during peak seasons.
Requirements
- At least one year of recent experience in outreach, sales, or education.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Ability to connect with both kids and adults in meaningful ways.
- Reliable transportation and strong internet connection at home.
- Flexibility in scheduling (days, evenings, and weekends).
Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish or French speakers are encouraged to apply.
