About the Role

The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for partnering with hiring managers to determine short and long-term talent needs for their teams. This role involves active recruiting through talent sourcing, candidate identification, and growing business affiliations by attending various recruiting events. The ideal candidate will balance the full recruiting cycle with strategic initiatives, including process development, system management, and mentoring other team members. This is an in-office position with a Monday-Friday, day shift schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, both short and long term.
  • Coordinate with resources to expand candidate pools, including local high schools, tech schools, military bases, and aviation program-based institutions.
  • Manage the company’s DoD SkillBridge program, coordinating recruitment and internships for transitioning service members.
  • Seek out initiatives to increase success in recruiting new prospects.
  • Prepare job descriptions and research/participate in relevant career fairs, local job fairs, and professional events.
  • Perform all aspects of the recruitment process, including pre-screening, interviews, reference checks, and offers.
  • Attract applicants through job advertisements, social media, and electronic job sites.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and verify references.
  • Utilize and document recruiting efforts within the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Administer company assessments and make hiring recommendations.
  • Organize interviews, arrange travel logistics, and escort candidates as needed.
  • Build applicant sources through research and contact with community services, colleges, and recruiters.
  • Serve as a liaison with employment agencies and industry associations.
  • Emphasize benefits and perks to potential candidates.
  • Facilitate special projects as assigned by the Director of HR.

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a recruiting role.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite, data entry, and technical writing.
  • Exemplary verbal communication skills across all applicant levels.
  • Strategic and dynamic thinker with an enthusiastic attitude and initiative.
  • Highly motivated, goal-driven, and results-oriented team player.
  • Integrity, positive attitude, creativity, and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Additional HR certifications are a plus.

Other Prerequisites

  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Ability to obtain an Airport Issued security badge.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Work is primarily performed indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. Requires sitting 6-8 hours a day and sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes to function in a general office environment.
