Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including requisition creation, sourcing, interviewing, candidate selection, offer management, background screening, and onboarding coordination.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop recruiting strategies, and establish candidate qualifications.
- Create and maintain engaging job postings across multiple recruiting platforms.
- Screen resumes, conduct candidate phone screens, coordinate interviews, and facilitate timely hiring decisions.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Extend offers and assist with pre-employment processes, including background checks.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems, recruiting technology, AI-assisted recruiting tools, and sourcing platforms to improve efficiency and candidate quality.
Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Develop proactive sourcing strategies to attract candidates.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through networking, social media, employee referrals, career fairs, community partnerships, and college recruiting initiatives.
- Research new recruiting channels and sourcing techniques to improve candidate quality and hiring outcomes.
- Represent Virginia Green at recruiting events, job fairs, and community outreach opportunities to promote our employer brand.
Partnership & Process Improvement
- Build strong working relationships with hiring managers and provide guidance throughout the hiring process.
- Collaborate with leadership to create accurate job descriptions and hiring profiles.
- Coach hiring managers on interviewing techniques, candidate evaluations, and best hiring practices.
- Monitor recruiting metrics, analyze hiring trends, and recommend process improvements to increase recruiting efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Participate in recruiting initiatives, projects, and continuous improvement efforts that support organizational growth.

- Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms (Lever and/or UKG experience preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for recruiting events and branch visits.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
- Ability to travel to branch locations, recruiting events, career fairs, and community outreach activities as needed.
