Recruiting Specialist

Direct staffing-industry experience is not required if you have strong recruiting, relationship-building, communication, and high-volume outreach experience. Responsibilities

• Connect with job seekers through phone calls, text messages, email, social media, job boards, and online applications.
• Conduct initial candidate screenings and assess qualifications, skills, experience, and career goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with candidates throughout the recruiting and hiring process.
• Schedule interviews and assist candidates in successfully navigating each stage of the hiring process.
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates to keep them informed and engaged.
• Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, community outreach, networking, and other recruiting channels.
• Re-engage previous applicants and candidates to identify new employment opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
• Participate in job fairs, hiring events, recruiting campaigns, and community outreach activities.
• Serve as a professional and supportive resource for candidates throughout the employment process.
• Answer candidate questions and provide timely, accurate information.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and documentation within company systems.
• Ensure candidates receive a professional, organized, and positive experience.
• Collaborate with recruiting, sales, and marketing team members to achieve hiring and business goals.
• Support recruiting and community marketing initiatives.
• Promote open positions through online and local recruiting channels.
• Assist with office operations and other team priorities as needed.
• Participate in training, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
• Stay informed about recruiting trends, employment practices, and local labor-market conditions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, customer service, sales, HR, or other high-volume, candidate/customer-facing experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish — required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent phone skills and confidence communicating with new people.
• Strong relationship-building and customer-service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately document information while actively engaging in conversations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ATS, CRM, job boards, or recruiting platforms is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in the Maryville/Alcoa, TN area.
