Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the front desk representative for the Talent Acquisition office, greeting and assisting new hires
  • Perform fingerprinting for all incoming employees and accurately submit data into the Mississippi background check system
  • Ensure all fingerprinting records and submissions are completed in compliance with state and company regulations
  • Direct new hires to Security and other departments as part of the onboarding process
  • Collect and review background documentation and pre-employment paperwork
  • Audit new hire files in Oracle to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Maintain process with background check vendor and ensure that superior service is provided
  • Manages new hire and onboarding process ensuring all new hire paperwork is received, processed and routed appropriately, updates systems and folders in timely manner in compliance with state and federal laws
  • Provides routine status updates to recruiters and hiring managers
  • Initiates background checks and escalates issues as necessary
  • Supports the recruiting team by pre-screening applications and facilitating the scheduling of interviews
  • Sets up new hire orientation and manages the schedule to ensure adequate space for each orientation cycle
  • Ensures a flawless candidate and new hire experience
  • Identify opportunities for improving the candidate experience throughout the recruiting and onboarding experience

Job Requirements

  • 1 year of similar experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
