Administrative Support Representative
Position Summary
The Administrative Support Representative is responsible for working with the supervisor on all issues to ensure all are documented, resolved, and all action plans and resolutions are communicated.
Key Deliverables
- Be the point person supporting the managers, make them run effortlessly.
- Serve as the liaison for the customers.
- Capture Data, Track Data, Import Data, Report Data, Live in all things around clean, accurate DATA.
- Paperwork Guru...From the Drivers, Claims, Returns, and everything in between, it is your paperwork.
- Superstar deadline oriented, treat missing a deadline like stepping on a Lego...ouch.
- Be the right hand to Operations to prioritize business and need to know information.
- Lead by example, be a utility player that the team admires because the positive attitude and the ability to get things done.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven success in administrative role and as a leader.
- Prior success within Logistics, Transportation or Supply Chain industries (preferred).
- Microsoft Suite skills, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint....use technology to work smart and get the job done well.
- Excellent data management skills.
- Strong communication across the organization, with our customers, with our supporters and the team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and the flexibility to handle multiple competing priorities.
- Solve problems by bringing solutions that are both in the box and out.
- Ability to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, with a minimum expectation of 32 hours per week. Additional hours may be required as dictated by business needs, including occasional evenings or weekends.
Travel
This position may require occasional travel up to 5%.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, copier, and phone.
