Recruiting Program Manager
About the role
This role is for someone who moves fast, takes ownership, and doesn't wait to be told what to do. You operate with both strategic altitude and operational precision, enjoy building infrastructure that doesn't yet exist, and know how to bring clarity and momentum to complex, cross-functional work.
You'll partner closely with Recruiters, Recruiting Operations, People, Finance, Comms, and senior leadership to drive some of our highest-priority initiatives. This includes designing, building, and scaling the systems and programs that power how Notion hires.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale systems and programs that power how Notion hires.
- Own the systems and strategy behind maintaining a healthy, well-mapped interviewer pool.
- Build and run programs that get new recruiters up to speed quickly.
- Provide program management support for specialized hiring motions like internal mobility, M&A integration, and other high-priority strategic initiatives.
- Create cross-functional playbooks and infrastructure to help Recruiting run with more consistency, clarity, and scale.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in program management, recruiting operations, or a highly cross-functional role in a fast-moving environment.
- A builder mentality: you're most energized when creating something new or improving something that doesn't yet work well.
- Strong project management skills: you can lead complex initiatives from scoping through execution, manage stakeholders, timelines, and competing priorities.
- Comfort with ambiguity and complexity: you don't need everything defined to start moving, and you know how to create structure where it's needed.
- Proven ability to operate with discretion and high judgment on sensitive or high-profile work.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication: you tailor your message to the audience and create clarity across all levels of the organization.
Skills
- High agency: you move fast, take ownership end-to-end, and don't wait for perfect information or explicit direction to get started.
- Strong analytical instincts: you use data to evaluate program health, spot patterns, and make informed decisions.
- Experience with recruiting program management workstreams through different stages of recruiting evolution and hypergrowth.
- Background in recruiting, talent operations, or HR program design.
- Familiarity with technical hiring, especially in AI, engineering, or product domains.
- You use Notion and love it: you get what we're building.
Benefits
We offer highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role's scope and complexity, and the candidate's experience and expertise.
