About the role
We are growing and seeking a dynamic individual to join our Human Resources department as a Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate recruiting, internal bidding process, and extending offers of employment.
- Perform all screening as necessary based on position and level.
- Develop job ads for new positions, and update job ads as needed.
- Seek to engage the passive job seeker market.
- Maintain the online application system through the daily review and distribution of resumes, and bi-weekly posting of existing positions.
- Prepare social media posts with an eye on recruitment and retention, at least weekly.
- Generate social media posts that are specific to the various social media platforms.
- Represent BSNB at designated employment fairs throughout the year.
- Administer the Retail Banking mentor programs, for both new hires and those being platformed trained.
- Follow-up to ensure all required documentation is maintained, and process bonuses.
- Perform other human resources reporting and employee life-cycle duties.
Qualifications
- Ace in a related field with an Associate's degree, or a Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years' experience in Human Resources or recruiting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to attend recruiting events effectively, source passive job seekers, and thoroughly assess a candidate's qualifications for open positions; experience with payroll software preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to remain highly confidential while maintaining openness with all staff, and the ability to work with multiple priorities and deadlines.
