Recruiter (Trucking)

Responsibilities

  • Recruit CDL drivers, mechanics, office staff, and operations personnel.
  • Post and manage job openings across recruiting platforms.
  • Screens resumes and conduct phone interviews.
  • Schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Verify employment history and qualifications.
  • Coverage of background checks, drug testing, and pre-employment requirements.
  • Manage driver recruiting through Tenstreet and other recruiting tools.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Follow up with applicants throughout the hiring process.
  • Coverage of new hire orientation and onboarding.
  • Maintenance of recruiting metrics.
  • Participation in recruiting events and job fairs.
  • Ensuring hiring practices comply with company policies and employment regulations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience (transportation preferred).
  • Experience recruiting CDL drivers is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with ATS systems (Tenstreet, Breezy, Indeed, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
